Ethereum's price surpasses $700 in another astonishing crypto-rally

Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency by market cap (behind Bitcoin), is currently trading at $707, a 20% increase in the last 24 hours.  This is a new record for Ethereum, which has kept pace with Bitcoin for the better part of the year but started falling behind sometime in the summer. Bitcoin's price grew tremendously in the second part of the year.
